I just noticed that john's shirt has the same eighth note thing on it as olivia's hoodie from eric's soul world. Is there a reason for that?The Eighth Note symbol on their clothes is the design of their school district’s music t-shirts. Basically students and parents fundraise for the music departments throughout the district by selling shirts and stuff.
Olivia’s hoodie with the purple symbol is the design they used when she was in 8th grade. The hoodie still fits her.
John’s shirt with the white symbol is the design they used when he was in 9th grade. He bought it because he was just starting to really get into music.
